What could happen if you have company on the fashion industry, which has beautiful, handmade, quality products, that are also different from the supply, because of the style and the materials used, and ,nevertheless, you aren't identified as a Spanish brand.
This is Loewe's case, that even though some of us haven't questioned that it's 100% spanish, there is still quite a lack of knowledge about the origins of the brand, which sets out some matters:
Why a luxury and successful brand cannot be Spanish; or is just that the name LOEWE ( a german surname) is not identified as Spanish, even though they have been on this industry since 1846, though they just made leather goods then.
On 1996 the brand joined the LVMH group, the world's leading luxury goods group.
Now Loewe has a perfume line, pret à porter design (Stuart Vevers as the Creative Manager) , and they make beautiful handbags and leather goods still.
Qué pasaría si tuvieses una empresa dentro del ámbito de la moda que crea productos de calidad, bonitos, artesanales, que además se diferencia de la oferta por el estilo y los materiales que utiliza, y ,sin embargo, no se te identifica como una marca española.
Este es el caso de Loewe, que aunque muchas de nosotras no ha tenido ninguna duda de que sea 100% español, hay todavía un desconocimiento de la procedencia de la marca que plantea lo siguiente:
Por qué una marca de lujo y gran éxito no puede ser española; o es simplemente que el nombre LOEWE (apellido de origen alemán) no se identifica como español, a pesar de que llevan en el negocio de la moda desde el año 1846, aunque entonces sólo trabajasen artículos marroquinería.
En el año 1996 la marca pasó a formar parte del grupo LVMH, número uno de los grupos de productos de lujo.
Ahora Loewe tiene una línea de perfumes, diseños pret à porter ( con Stuart Vevers como director creativo), y siguen haciendo bolsos preciosos y marroquinería.
